Winooski School District is partnering with Vermont Foodbank to offer the Veggie VanGo program. Through the Veggie VanGo program, the Vermont Foodbank distributes produce twice a month on school grounds, thereby providing a more accessible source of fresh food to students and their families throughout the year.
Vermont Foodbank trucks will distribute produce at the school in the morning on the following Fridays, 8:45 -10:00am:

- Oct 4, Oct 18
- Nov 1, Nov 15
- Dec 6, Dec 20
- Jan 17 (no deliveries Jan 3)
- Feb 7, Feb 21
- Mar 6, Mar 20
- Apr 3, Apr 17
- May 15 (no deliveries May 1)
- June 5, June 19
We have created a video explaining the Veggie VanGo and Backpack Food programs, which was translated into the following languages: Arabic, Nepali, and Vietnamese. We are working on getting the video translated into other languages. You can find the original and translated videos below.
