What is a Booster?
The Winooski Boosters is a local non-profit organization made up of parent volunteers dedicated to helping all Winooski high school and middle school athletes achieve their goals.
The Winooski Boosters contributions include:
- Purchasing of the Senior Blankets for all qualified, graduating athletes.
- Providing annual scholarships to deserving and qualified graduating athletes.
- Sponsoring the annual athletic banquet.
- Sponsoring the annual homecoming parade.
- Putting countless hours working the concession stands at our home games.
- And more!
Mission Statement
The Winooski Boosters are parents who volunteer their time to help support all athletic programs at WM/HS!
The primary purpose of the Winooski Boosters is to provide supplemental financial support for the “extras” that are not included in the middle and high school teams school budget of all athletics at WM/HS, promote participation in activities that support the sports program and to sponsor recognition activities and events.
We, the undersigned, have joined together to form a group, hereafter known as the WINOOSKI BOOSTERS. In order to provide moral and monetary support for athletic groups at Winooski Middle/ High School: specifically,
(a) To reward all qualifying senior athletes with an athletic blanket;
(b) To provide scholarships to senior athletes who are pursing higher education;
(c) To support and assist, when possible, any other programs that are relevant to the successful pursuance of athletic activities at Winooski Middle/High School.
TYPE OF ORGANIZATION
The Winooski Boosters are a non-profit fund-raising organization. The organization will seek permission from the Winooski School District to be recognized as an approved organization operating under the District’s protection.
FISCAL YEAR
The fiscal year for the WINOOSKI BOOSTERS will be July 1st thru June 30th.
